E-mail Button Stopped Working

My hard drive was about to fail, so I bought a new one. I used the manufacturer's software to copy the data from the old drive to the new. Seemed to work OK.

Then I started DM and tried to e-mail someone. Nothing. Not even an error message.

I tried clicking on an e-mail link in a web page and did get a message about my "default e-mail client not being setup correctly." Microsoft actually has an answer for this one, here at:

After I followed the steps to fix my web link problem, it fixed the DM problem. (Actually, it's not really a DM problem, but a Windows File Association/DDE problem.)
