I have a few names in my contact list where the man has a suffix after the surname: "John Doe Jr." or "Max Smart III"

I imported this suffix field to the "Name 2" field in DM. But I noted that when printing envelopes or address labels the Name 2 field contents print on a separate line below the main name.

I would like to print suffixes right after the surname rather than on a separate line. How can I configure DM to do this? (the only way I can think of at the moment is to actually add the suffix after the surname in the last name field. But the suffix is not really part of the last name.)

As you have discovered, there is no discrete field for suffix.

So, just include it in the last name field to get what you want.
