Gift import: Address check

Post by BinBuka »

I think I just lost the posting I just wrote. If this is a duplicate, please forgive me...

During gift import from our WBT-US statements I always check addresses individually rather than "accept all updates." Every address triggers an update screen because the addresses on our statement don't include the country field if it's "USA."

Is there a way to have DM ignore this field? or do I need to remove "USA" from the addresses in my database? When we're overseas we do need to include this on mailing labels. I feel as if I've missed something here...

It happens with both the old and the new WBT statements.

Thanks again for a GREAT program!

Countries and the address check

Kim,

Good point. I'll make an adjustment there in the next update. I'll set it so that if you have a country, and HQ doesn't, then that should not necessarily be flagged as an address difference.
