I've never taken a look at the Palm Desktop, but if it can export its data to an Excel format data file, or a CSV (Comma Separated Values) file, then the Donor Manager can handle it.

Most programs can export to one or both of these formats.

If you export to a CSV, open that file in Excel first, then save it as an Excel format file, then you can import it into the Donor Manager using /Tools /Import /Import from Excel.

I hope that helps!

Palm Desktop (ver 4.1.2) can export to either a comma delimited file (.cvs) or a tab deliniated file (.tab) both of which can be read by Excel. Here's how:
- In the Palm desktop bring up your Contacts screen
- If you want to export only certain records select those
- Click File/Export
- In the "Export As" pane enter a filename, choose the export type in the dropdown control, and choose the Range (either All or Currently Selected Records.)
- Click on the Export button.
Then import the file into Excel and save it as an Excel file and import it into Donor Manager

By the way, you can go the other way too, exporting a CVS file from DM which can be read by Palm Desktop.

Hope this helps.
