Version 5.33.05
I am unable to exit the program. When I attempt to exit, looks like it is shutting down, then starts back up again. Can't quit, can't close, can't shut down. Just stuck there. have to Control Alt Delete to get the program to stop.
Happens on Win 98 and Win XP.

Thunderbird
Any tips for using Thunderbird with the bulk e-mail? Thunderbird seems to want to have each address on a separate line/entry rather than a comma separated or semicolon separated list. It makes sending out bulk mail a bit of a challenge. Perhaps your new mail merge feature is coming along and I can u...

Excel Import item
John, I tried doing an Excel import and could not find a field to import the SORT ID. Is that an oversight? could you add one?

Data Format
I don't know what Wycliffe/Orlando is using. They returned the data as an excel spreadsheet, just like we submitted it to them, just the contents was updated after they ran it through a postal checker ... correcting such things as abbreviations, adding Zip+4, and such. Place became PL, Correcting 55...

Thanks, John
I'm sure Butch will be delighted. (me too).
He has several hundered addresses and I'd hate to have to work through that list by hand to verify the adjustments.

Verifying Addresses
Message on behalf of Butch Barkman: I recently exported my address list to .xls format. The Orlando office ran the list through a postal address checker and 'updated' the information for me. How do I go about applying that updated information to the contents of my Donor Manger database? 1. If I impo...

Training 12 month report
Trailing 12 month giving history... Perhaps this is a quirk of the Wycliffe cycle, but this report always gives us only 11 months of history. Our statements come out about the 7th of the month. Thus on January 7th when I generate this report I see donations from February 04 through January 05, howev...

FoxFire 9 and linux support
Any chance that the update to FoxFire 9 will run under linux? Or do you think that Microsoft is deliberately moving away from enabling this package to run under linux?
I'm really enjoying for FireFox web browser and learning to use the Thunderbird e-mail client.
Yea! Open Source.

Writing letters for you
I've seen the work of a lot of SPAM generators. They can write letters for you. Lots of random words. Sure fills up the page fast. And it can probably mail the message, not only to your ministry partners, but a million other people, too! Just think how fast your message would get out to ALL THE WORL...
