Re: DM6 in Linux/Wine - can't type anything!

It might be a conflict with ibus or kmfl (Keyman for Linux). I just tried again and couldn't type in a DM box. When I turned off ibus I could type. I don't remember this happening in 2014 when I was using Ubuntu 12.04, but I can't say that for sure. If someone reads this who's using wasta and kmfl, ...

DM6 in Linux/Wine - can't type anything!

I was using DM6 on my Ubuntu 12.04 computer several months ago, and it seemed to work pretty well. Just now I downloaded the latest version and the updates installer, and installed it onto a different computer running Wasta-12.04, which is also Ubuntu. The program seems to work, but I can't type any...

Donor Manager on a portable HDD to share between computers

We both need to access our donor and address contacts on separate computers. After re-synching our accidentally separate changes for the umpteenth time we were fed up with wasting time this way. I installed Donor Manager onto a portable USB hard drive. I placed a shortcut titled "Donor Manager on Fi...

The (manual) installer always adds "\donor5" to the path you specify when you browse for a location for the install, as happened with Slyman here. I have done the same thing Slyman did more than once; now I usually notice this and remove the extra folder from the path. The next question the installe...

Gift import: Address check

I think I just lost the posting I just wrote. If this is a duplicate, please forgive me... During gift import from our WBT-US statements I always check addresses individually rather than "accept all updates." Every address triggers an update screen because the addresses on our statement don't includ...

Live update for 5.37.10

I also just tried Live Update to 5.37.10, and got the message, "problem downloading or uncompressing..." But Live Update worked great a couple weeks ago to get 5.37.05, so I wonder if it's more than a firewall problem this time? Same thing happened on both our computers, which share an internet conn...

Oh, thanks. It's definitely easier to switch to Tools to refine a filter def, as the last filter edited remains in the box. I'd been using Reports.

Edit Filters

I'm trying to build a filter for a specific mailing, so I find myself switching between Reports, to edit the filter, and Partners, to view the results. I'd love to see a shortcut to Editing the current Filter in the Partners screen--something like, Right-click on the filter that's showing in the dro...

I'd love to see this feature, something like Outlook's Categories, as well! Please let me know if you need testers for it.
