It is still in version 6. Use the drop-down "Tools" menu (File / Edit / Reports / Tools) ... it's there in the list, about the same place as it was in Dm 5.

Good question. The program does not keep track of the date an entry was first made, and it also does not keep track of when a record is updated. Settings -> Report printing options -> Use advanced report previewed -> No (uncheck it)
Then quit and restart the program.

Hi Joe, Sorry that you are having problems here. What folder are you trying to install to? If it is c:\program files\ or (anything under that), DM does not run there. It's a problem I'm working on. I've not seen this problem before.
First of all, try doing a reindex (on the drop down "Tools" menu). Sometimes that clears up things like this.
Otherwise, make a "Pack and Go" file so I can test with your data.

Thanks for your post.
This was caused by a bad upload of a recent DM installer which caused the file you downloaded to be confusing to Windows.
And, indeed, the file had an error so was not considered a valid install file.
I'm pretty sure this has been fixed in the latest update.

Do let me encourage you, however, to upgrade your DM to the DM 6 series.
